Compatible with all 12V CDIs with 5-pin square terminals, such as model 30304-009.
However, we recommend changing the following components to 12V (available on our website): battery, bulbs, flasher unit and high-voltage coil.

Adapter sub-harness with lug for CDI box for older 6-volt DAX models.
Ideal for retrofitting a 12V motor without changing the entire original 6V wiring harness.
Your original 6V regulator is compatible with a 12V signal.
However, we recommend that you change the following components to 12V (available on our site): battery, bulbs, turn signal unit and high-voltage coil.

Small 6-pin connector: CDI Large 6-pin connector:
6V wiring harness Yellow/black wire only: + coil (if ground on coil, connect to frame).
Wires on 12V ignition side: Yellow: + controlled for lights (+12V)
White: + controlled for lights (+9V)
Blue/Yellow: CDI
Black/Red: + coil Dark green: Ground
Light green/Red: Neutral indicator
